Dan Paton currently teaches practical music workshops at WAC Performing Arts Media College in North London, as well as working with Camden and Harrow council music services. He teaches one to one drum tuition privately, focusing on fundamental musical skills and concepts and approaches to improvisation. He also runs visiting rhythm and improvisation workshops in schools.

Dan has also taught on a number of summer schools, including the Guildhall School of Music and Drama summer school and working as ‘in house rhythm section’ on Tim Whitehead’s What’s Your Story? Summer Jazz Workshop series.
